Since discontinuing the Ford Focus after the 2019 model year, the company has switched their focus to SUVs and trucks. Even the iconic Ford Mustang received an SUV make-over.

Power and Associates compared the 2022 Chevy Silverado and Ford F-150. They gave the advantage to Chevy in dependability, gas mileage, touchscreen, and cargo bed space. And while the Ford F-150 was first to offer a hybrid powertrain, the Silverado 1500 is the first to go all-electric.

When it comes to SUVs, deciding which is better, Ford or Chevy SUVs can be tough because both brands offer such extensive selections. Ford offers eight SUV choices, while Chevy has seven. Both brands offer eight SUV models that include one electric model (Chevy Bolt EUV and Ford Mustang Mach-E). However, Chevy will be hitting the EV market hard in 2023 when they introduce electric versions of two SUV favorites: the Chevy Blazer EV and Chevy Equinox EV.
